Christmas in CA 2007

Christmas was wonderful in CA this year! We enjoyed the dinner prepared by Chef Kevin. It was different not having any little ones around, and I missed all of them! But exciting to be awaiting the birth of Kevin and Helen's little girl. Still waiting for Helen to have a some good labor pains, so we will know it's time!! I'm afraid she won't be a little tax write off this year-Myrle goes back to AZ Monday night, so I'm afraid he's going to miss seeing number 10 grand baby this trip.
It was fun seeing Kodi, Jeremy and of course my Trenton! He's grown a foot, and has really learned a lot since I saw him last. Myrle and I shed a few tears when they left for Oregon.
I'm already thinking of next Christmas, and wondering where we will spend it. I would like to spend it in AZ and actually decorate my house again. It's been two years without a tree!
It was a wonderful year! Two new grand babies, visits from Taryn and kids, Misha and twins, Kodi and Trenton. Lots of trips to Colorado, and time with PaPa, and finally his health improvement. I was afraid that 2007 might be the year I would lose my Dad. So, I've been blessed!

I stole pictures from Misha's blog/ but I thought they were wonderful pictures! Just love my Mac, and the ability to drag pictures.
I'm waiting for pictures of the other family members.
I'm counting down the days until I go to Kevin and Helen's--however it dawned on me today, how long I'm going to be away from Storie and Trevor. They'll be toddlers when I return!! I will miss them!
Mallorie can hardly wait to know what Kevin and Helen's baby's name will be! She asks every time I talk to her!

It's finally December, and in 11 days I fly to CA to await the birth of new baby girl! We are all excited about this! Helen said she would try to hold on until I got there! She had better!!
After a wonderful Thanksgiving, I'm looking forward to spending some relaxing time at Kevin and Helen's. I have several books waiting to be packed!
I'm not decorating for Christmas again this year, since we'll be at Kevin's. However I've been playing our favorite John Denver Christmas CD!

Post Thanksgiving

Well, it's all over! I took the NC klan to Tucson today, so they could catch the plane for NC with a layover in Phx. Crazy! Hated saying goodbye--Emmie cried when she said goodbye, and I cried all the way to the outlets in Casa Grande! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving in Colorado! Our weather was really perfect. Had a bonfire one night, and made smores, then woke up to snow and made snow ice cream. The kids all loved it.
We all wished Kevin and Helen, and Kodi, Trenton, and Jeremy could have been there with us. The guys went out one day and shot the guns. Travis, Katie and Ashlyn came over and visited and talked about missions and hunting! The guys are looking forward to a hunting trip next year with Travis helping them shoot a deer or elk!
I have tons of pictures to post, when I figure out how to put them in the right format!

Almost Thanksgiving!

Well, it's hard to see Karter, but nevertheless, we're proud of his football team! It's always fun to be on the winning team! Bailee was chosen to be on a new Volleyball team, she had to try out for. Hopefully I can post pictures of her also!
I'm counting the hours until the NC Klan get here! PaPa has talked and talked about Miss Emmie! We've told him what a character she is! And I'm so glad that Kade remembers coming to "Grandma's" house!
Kilee wants to take Bailee to the Mall shopping! They are two of a kind! Still more like sisters than aunt and neice.
I'm ready for a vacation! Tired of taking PaPa to doctors! It will be wonderful to have my girls in Colorado, since they all cook too! Christtina plans to make her pumpkin roll, and Misha her famous Chocolate Mousse! Ummmm----

We are all counting down the days until we see our NC family members! It will be wonderful in Colorado to experience some "winter" unlike the weather we've had in AZ.
I'm so thankful to have so many wonderful children! It was all I ever wanted in life! And now to see Grandchildren come into the family (they are actually much better than my own children! Much smarter!)

Happy Halloween Family!
Wish I could be with all of you--I've loved the pictures of all the costumes!
Kilee, Dustin, Storie will come over tonight, and hand out candy to the trick or treaters! Hope we have a ton of kids, because I've bought way too much candy! But if there are left overs, Taryn's klan will be here Nov. 16th--I'm sure they can take care of it!
We're excited for Kodi, Jeremy and Trenton to move into their new house! I will go visit when all the work has been done!
Helen and Kevin had an earthquake lastnight in San Jose, CA. They were at their birthing class when they felt it. Kevin said it was the strongest one he's felt thus far! Hope I don't experience any when I go out for the birth in December! I can hardly wait to see this little girl, who still remains nameless!! I think I"ve been the MOST excited about this grandbaby, just because I've waited so long for her to come to our family!
