Colorado~

We are in Colorado, and have company!! Kilee and family, as well as Dusty's brother, wife and sister all came to spend the night before going onto AZ. Dusty's grandma died, so they're going for the funeral. They had some fun on the 4 wheelers. I made navajo tacos and they just enjoyed the cool country air~ I came back to AZ with them for the funeral and to see everyone I left. Last night we had a house full with Phillip's crew and Misha's family. It was LOUD! I'm not used to that. But I loved it and slept really well last night when it finally got still. Myrle stayed in Colorado, to continue watering everything and getting it all green. It is so dry up there, and I do believe we are going to have water problems. There just wasn't any snow this year, so the lakes and streams are very low. It's fun seeing Miss CeeCee. She's starting to warm up to me. But by the time she does, they'll be heading back to Utah. She's a little chub, and her skin is soon soft! Love those breast fed babies. I can tell just by twiddling their legs if they're on breast milk or formula!

May & our trip to NC

Just some random pictures~ Karter will be coming home from his mission in August~ Can't believe it's already been 2 years! He's back in Farmington, NM..so I'm tempted to run over and see him again. Ha! Our trip to NC was really fun. It was great getting to see our Miss Bailee graduate from College....again I can't believe that cute little dimpled girl is out of college! Love her so much! It was wonderful seeing Emmie Rae and of course Kade! He has such a funny sense of humor when he isn't yelling at his parents or Emmie! Went to see my favorite cousin in Maryland. Loved getting to see her again. Found this picture of my parents, my aunt and uncle and the 2 other triple brothers of my dad. I'd never seen this picture before so it was fun finding it. My mom was pg with me at the time, so that made it special too. Wish I had taken pictures of Leigh Ann and Jim while we were visiting~ Didn't think about it at the time. Another year over for track with Mallorie and Kolby! They are very good and getting better. We went to Emmie's last soccer game while in NC..she is amazing!

April~

Well, I'm really bad about updating this blog, but I do love having one and recording things~ Yesterday was Easter~ We went to Misha's for dinner~ wonderful having all the mess there, Ha! Had a delicious ham, scolloped potatoes and green beans, homemade rolls and salad. Misha made a carrot cake, that was wonderful and got Bundt cakes from our favorite place~ Philliip, Tina and the kids were all there too, hiding eggs. It was a great day~ We got to San Diego on Thursday to meet up with Kevin, Helen and the kids. Hopefully I'll get lots of pictures~ the kids are all so hard to capture pictures of. They won't pose for long enough.

Karter's birthday~

Today is Elder Baltich birthday~ He's 20 years old and has about 6 months of his mission left~ It really has gone by very quickly~ He's in Paige AZ now and liking it much better than the reservation area where he was~ But he's done great at adjusting to his different areas~ My poor blog, there is no way to catch up with it. So many things have happened, new baby girls, Neva and Charlye. Soon Kilee will be moving back to Utah, which she is really happy about~ Bailee and Kodi will graduate from college this spring and they will be so happy to be finished. Kodi will be an RN and making big money~ hopefully she'll be able to come home for a vacation. Bailee will graduate, and wants to get her Master's somewhere other than NC. Hope she goes to BYU to get that~ a little closer at least. We are still traveling~ but have slowed down a bit after Myrle having his ministroke~ But he's been through all the tests, and things all came back good~ We will be going to Cortez this weekend and onto Denver next week, to meet up with cousins. Looking forward to seeing Kilee and the kids. Dusty will actually be here in AZ. Crazy~ No other trips planned at this time. But it's time~ I get bored staying home all the time~ I'll try to be faithful and post more~

Busy Busy Busy~

Things keep preventing me from updating my blog~ We've had Trevor's birthday..he's 10 now! Kora and Storie are out of school for the summer. Can't believe how much they've grown this year. Can't wait to see them next weekend in Colorado! Anabeth and Nolan have grown too~ Miss them so much. Such cute kids. I don't get pictures very often, so I was thrilled to get these. The pool is from our old house on 75th Ave. We had many a show from the fireplace hearth~ Perfect for our parties! It is for sale~ They had an open house the other day, so we went in. It's been owned by 5 different people since we moved out. They've each done their own little remodel, and it looks awful! The kids all have fond memories of it, so it was fun seeing it again. I'll just never forget the leaking roof and the roaches from the septic tank. Not to mention all the noise from the street. Harrison and Elloit love baby Neva! She's growing and fattening up~ She'll have twiddle legs before we know it. Christtina has good milk~ We'll be heading out for Colorado tomorrow~ Looking forward to cooler weather! And Misha and the kids are coming with us. Jeremy will come later to pick them up. Also Kilee and the family will be coming~ So I have lots to look forward to.

It's been a hard month. Celebrated (not the right word, cause it wasn't a celebration) the passing of my Mom, brother, Dad and today is my granny Zell's! It's crazy my granny has been gone 31 years~ Seems like only yesterday. I was flying home from Oklahoma, from my uncle's funeral, when I got the news that she had passed. I was alone, and cried all the way home~

Kolby and Mallorie's Plays

Christtina

Christtina, Elloit and Cole. Cole turned 8! Elliott hit his head, while falling off the table, and hurt it pretty bad..so they think he should wear a helmet! I think they are right~

Neva

Our Neva is growing..starting to chub up~ Christtina has wonderful milk~ Myrle claims he doesn't like newborns, but I beg to differ..I don't want to go to Colorado and miss out on seeing her grow~

Neva Elise Higgins

We have a new baby girl!! Christtina and Phillip added number 20 grandchild to the family~ Christtina had a wonderful home birth. She is a trooper! About 3 hours of hard labor, and this little 6 lb 12 oz baby girl flew out~ They've waited several days to finally pick a name. The baby girl was a bit of a surprise, since they've got 4 little boys already~ But we all like the name "Neva Elise". She is a good little baby, sleeps and eats~ hasn't kept them up at night. Very proud of Phillip and Christtina and their little family~

Mallorie and Kolby are turning 14 years old! Can't believe how quickly these years have passed. We had waited for them to come to our family for so long! They are absolutely wonderful kids! It's been fun seeing them grow up~ Cathy & Paul Magleby and family~ I miss so many of my old friends. There are so many I've lost track of, and I just hate that. Just found out that one of my elementary school friends has a condo in Scottsdale..I had no idea. Anyway, she knows I live in AZ, but must not want to get together with me~ Hurts my feelings~ Oh and while I'm ranting, so many of my friends are liberals!! What went wrong?? Miss Meryn is growing up way too fast~ She's the smartest little girl..reads books while nursing! ha!

Meryn and big brother

Trenton just loves his little sister! It's so fun to see him with her. She adores him~ Such a difference in the way he gets along with Dane. He tends to tease him a lot! Always knew he'd be great with a little sister, he loved Mallory so much and still does!

Elder Baltich

Elder Karter Baltich has been transferred to Farmington, New Mexico from Bloomfield. This should be a good transfer. Taryn isn't very good at sending new pictures or even his emails~ typical Taryn~ I'm must glad he's doing so well, and is still excited about his missionary calling.
