Storie & Kora~

Myrle dressed up to hand out candy to the kids~ Some were scared, and didn't want to get any from him. One little girl marched up, big as you please, and after getting her candy she said "Thanks, Santa Clause".

Trenton looking really scary, and not at all like himself~Kodi did a great job painting his face, much better than a mask!

Dane made a cute little race car driver!!

Kodi said that as soon as someone gave Dane some candy, he stood right there at the door, and unwrapped it, and ate it~~ They had a hard time explaining to him, that you put it in your bag/pumpkin and saved it for later~

Trevor was not happy about being Jacob~~ Fortunately the weather was very nice and warm, so he didn't get cold while out trick or treating~~Still waiting for pictures from the rest of the grand kids~

Maui rainbows

Our resort was very nice, but the view from the balcony wasn't as good as I'd hoped. There were always alot of boats out in the bay area around our hotel~
There was almost a rainbow everyday~

Hana Dog

I wish you could see this dog closer~ We stopped at a little roadside fruit stand (which I love) anyway, there was this dog just lying on his back/ posing!! He didn't move much the whole time we were there~ We picked up dried mango (one of my favorites) coconut candy, which is nothing more than baked coconut with some brown sugar sprinkled on it. The fresh fruit was amazing!! I ate way too much pineapple--It cleaned me out nicely! ha!

I couldn't believe how large the leaves were on all the plants!

I love how these clouds just roll in~ This is just below a volcano crater~ It was very dry & volcanic up there~ Ha! But the ocean views were amazing!

Plumeria

I have a plumeria plant in Az, trying to get it to grow==doubt I'll ever get it to look like the ones in Maui~ They are strange plants, in the winter you put them in the garage and don't water them--Myrle killed several of mine, because he insisted they needed water~Mine are still in pots of course, so once they get large they should do well in the backyard. Myrle has a cousin in Houston who grows them, he has several, this is where we got our clippings~They have a Plumeria Society--and actually register the plants!~~ Oh my! Anyway, maybe someday mine will grow--if my little grandchildren will stop pulling off the leaves~ ha!

Dane loves it when Kodi bakes cookies~~ He goes crazy for cookies!!

I'm pretty sure, he doesn't care if she actually cooks them or not, he'd just eat the dough~ I miss this little stinker!

Just Random pictures~

One morning I work up to see this in the sky~ It's interesting because we don't have that much air traffic==In AZ I'm so used to hearing jets fly over, or even helicopters==But when I hear one in CO, I'm always surprised~


Myrle's watermelon~ Which you could literally watch grow--Unfortunately it just didn't taste that great==Not very sweet, and it was a yellow meated one==I have no idea why he planted that variety?

Miss Bailee's car~ I guess when we return from Hawaii, we will be driving this out to NC. We will get to go to OK and visit my Aunt Harriet, as well as check on our property~ Also will be getting together with my newly found cousin~ Tony!
