Anabeth's Birthday!

I think Anabeth was a little overwhelmed with all the people and gifts!

She does love her bitty brother!! I just worry about his eyes, and being hugged to death! ha!

Kevin looks a little surprised~ Ha! He built this gun himself!

Trenton & Dane

These are the dirt shirts we got the boys in Kauai. They use the dirt in Kauai to stain fabric--They're called "dirt shirts"! I loved the roosters on them~

This little girly/boy, Dane needs a haircut, even though he has beautiful blond hair like his mommy did when she was little.

Christmas Eve 2010

Kora & Cole were thrilled with the selection of princess shoes== I couldn't get decent pictures of them, as usual. They are on the go constantly!!

This is about as still as we got them Christmas eve! Not sure where Kora was-- I'm hoping their parents got some better pictures of them~

Trevor

Recently Christtina was going through some old clothes, which were ones she'd had when she was younger. She came upon this little dressy dress, and said "Oh, I wish I had a little girl to wear this" Trevor heard her, and said "Mom, I'll wear it for you"! He makes a cute little girl! ha!

My Aunt Stella died before Christmas. She was uncle Derry's wife. I hadn't seen her in years, actually prior to uncle Derry's death. But she was a pretty lady, and I always liked her. I've kept up with their children, my cousins, Greg seen here, and Debbie & Kim. Pictured here is Grandma Dollie--a picture I had never seen before. Not sure how old she was here--But I'm thinking it was prior to being put in the rest home! She reminds me of my dad~

Random Pictures--~

Mallorca

Catedral Palma de Mallorca!

Bellver Castle~

Our last stop on our trip was Mallorca. It's an island, part of Spain! Beautiful, clean, and one place we'd really like to return to. Very modern~ an amazing mall, all underground---3 levels!!
All in all the trip was a good start==Really showed us where we'd like to spend more time. The cruise was great, we loved NCL--It was so nice to have our room & food available on the ship, so we didn't have to spend a fortune on food & hotels. I would love to see the country in most of these places--not real fond of all the city stuff--especially now that we've seen that part! We had wonderful travel mates! Richard & Leslie had been to some of these places before, so it really helped having them know something of what & where to go. Of course Taryn & Derik were wonderful! Derik & Richard were fun, and friendly where ever we went--they didn't hesitate to talk, or try to talk to anyone! So, much more fun going with people you love!!
Language was a major problem for us! The best days were the days we hired a driver, who spoke English!! And in the long run much cheaper to do that, than to set out on our own. The one day in Rome was expensive, by the time we rode bus, train, subway, and finally taxi's ! We should have hired someone that day! It would have made it much more enjoyable! Everything cost money--including using the bathrooms!! If you sit down to eat something in a little cafe, it costs extra!! Most people just stand around outside eating!
Originally I had been scared to go to some of these places--but we didn't encounter any scary places! Lots of people everywhere--You just had to be aware--not unlike CA here in the USA~ For a Mediterranean Cruise this probably wasn't the best time of year to go--weather wise--But we enjoyed the weather==liked wearing coats and scarfs--
