Kodi's Jeremy

Jeremy was playing softball yesterday afternoon, and was hit by someone trying to throw the ball to 3rd base--Must have been an awful throw--They hit him right in the head--he fell to the ground, couldn't see out of his right eye, and was bleeding out of his nose, as well as above his brow! Kodi was there, fortunately, so they took him to the ER where he spent the night for observation. They did a CAT scan, and didn't find any fractures to the skull--but bleeding around the brain! Scary! He was released today, and we pray he will recover quickly~

I felt like I should post a before and after picture! I've always thought he was such a handsome guy~ I tease Trenton all the time that he's my boyfriend!! ha!

Trenton was sooo mad at whoever it was that hit him! Of course he did alot of crying too~ Meanwhile, Trenton is playing football this year!! Great!! Grandma's just worry too much~ You can tell I didn't have boys that played football!!

Grandkids & Higgins Reunion

Mr. Nolan got a haircut! Don't you love those rolls? I can't believe this little cutie is going to be 1 yrs old next month~ I'm missing him~

The Higgins Reunion 2011: Millard, Revis, Droyce, Ervil, Don, Myrle, Billy & Arvita! Myrle sticks out in his Hawaiian/Beach attire! Actually he wore boots and jeans the day before, but said that the shorts & t-shirt was much more comfortable! Next year, we need all the brothers to wear shorts, I want to see if they all have skinny "higgins" legs! ha! One of the highlights of the Reunion every year, is the auction. Don is an auctioneer, so it's always fun hearing him do that. Everyone brings various things to donate to the auction. I paid $20.00 for a dozen homemade tortillas!! They are delicious~ I donated 3 of my hand knitted scarfs which sold for $75.00 each! I was thrilled! Now, I've got to start thinking what to donate for next year! The money earned goes toward the building rental, and food for next years auction~

Trenton

Trenton & his friend Carson~ He's several years younger than Trenton, lives next door, and thinks Trenton is the BEST friend you could have~ Trenton is wonderful with him! He's such a kind little boy! I miss him so much!

Dane

I have no idea why all these pictures are messed up~ They were the before and after shots--but they're all messed up~

Dane has beautiful blond hair--not unlike his mommy did, only Kodi's was naturally curly! When she was little no one thought she was mine. I always said it was a good thing she was born at home, I might not have believed she was mine either!


Whenever Kodi cooks, Dane has to get right up beside her on a chair and "help" her--Maybe we have a future chef!
His hair really is beautiful, I can see why they didn't want to cut it, however you can't see his pretty "blue berries" (blue eyes)
