Utah, Colorado, Idaho Trip

Kodi, Dane and Trenton fly home today! I will be having super depression for a few days! I hate when my kids leave! We had a wonderful trip~ the kids all got along wonderfully, and the girls had fun catching up and talking about the old days! The weather was perfect! Trenton had his birthday at Misha's. Their friend, Eric, made sushi and all kinds of good food, and brought it all in! He also had a chocolate fountain, which was a hit with everyone! One of Trenton's favorite foods is sushi!
We also did some shopping in Salt Lake City, and Idaho Falls which is always a hit! Everyone enjoyed Dane, who was the perfect traveler! It helped having Big Brother in the back giving him his binky when he fussed!
Kodi got to see PaPa and Steve and Judi while in Colorado! Judi made Dane a beautiful birthday blanket! We really didn't want to leave to come back to Hot AZ---I'm ready to go back to Colorado and spend a month watching the leaves turn, and fall off the trees!
Thank you Misha and Jeremy! Your home is the perfect place for everyone to get together! That huge basement is wonderful!!

Our Trip

This is just a teaser of our future trip~ Kodi, Trenton & Dane get here tomorrow--We can hardly wait to see them, especially Dane! Keep wondering how much he has grown. I told Kodi not to even bring any clothes for Dane, I have the box of clothes from Trevor, so I'm sure he'll have plenty to wear! We will go onto Cortez, and see everyone there/ then onto Salt Lake City to pick up Taryn, and to eat at Rodizios (Just had to add that to make everyone jealous!) I wish Taryn had the kids with her so we could see all of them also. School just ruins all our fun! Then we'll head to Idaho to see Misha, Jeremy & the twins! Misha and the twins really wanted to meet us in SLC, so they could eat at the "grabber place" also--We will miss not having Kilee & Storie, and Tina & Trevor, and Helen & Anabeth with us! Always need a few more little ones to keep us all entertained! But I guess we understand that they have other plans!
I will take lots of pictures of everyone, so I'll have lots to post! I'm looking forward to some cool weather! We've had some awful monsoons here, in fact lastnight I thought I should be hiding out in a tornado safe area of my house! Reminds me of growing up in OK & TX.

First Day of School

Today Taryn's kids started school. Emmie reminds me so much of myself. She held onto Taryn until the end/and then cried when she left. I hated school. My mom would walk me to school, and I would cry, and as soon as we were let out for recess I would walk home----and mom would walk me back to school. Next day/// same thing!! Taryn should be glad Emmie isn't within walking distance! ha!

Our Anniversary

It's almost official--We have been married for 39 years! Crazy how long that seems as I look back, and realize all we've done over those years. The moves, the homes, the jobs, the kids, not to mention all the happiness and heartbreak! Life---I'm feeling very old today! There are a few changes I would make, if I had the chance to do it all over again--But I've never regretted marrying my husband, and having all my wonderful children! I can't imagine life without them, and I guess I'm a little sad, cause I'm on the down hill side of life now. However I've accomplished what I wanted in this earthly life---My goal was always to marry and have 6 kids! ha!

Miss Anabeth in her black and white! I think little dark haired babies look so cute in Black, and it's so hard to find. This makes her little eyes pop out! I love it!
