Our Neva is growing..starting to chub up~ Christtina has wonderful milk~ Myrle claims he doesn't like newborns, but I beg to differ..I don't want to go to Colorado and miss out on seeing her grow~

Neva Elise Higgins

We have a new baby girl!! Christtina and Phillip added number 20 grandchild to the family~ Christtina had a wonderful home birth. She is a trooper! About 3 hours of hard labor, and this little 6 lb 12 oz baby girl flew out~ They've waited several days to finally pick a name. The baby girl was a bit of a surprise, since they've got 4 little boys already~ But we all like the name "Neva Elise". She is a good little baby, sleeps and eats~ hasn't kept them up at night. Very proud of Phillip and Christtina and their little family~

Mallorie and Kolby are turning 14 years old! Can't believe how quickly these years have passed. We had waited for them to come to our family for so long! They are absolutely wonderful kids! It's been fun seeing them grow up~ Cathy & Paul Magleby and family~ I miss so many of my old friends. There are so many I've lost track of, and I just hate that. Just found out that one of my elementary school friends has a condo in Scottsdale..I had no idea. Anyway, she knows I live in AZ, but must not want to get together with me~ Hurts my feelings~ Oh and while I'm ranting, so many of my friends are liberals!! What went wrong?? Miss Meryn is growing up way too fast~ She's the smartest little girl..reads books while nursing! ha!

Trenton just loves his little sister! It's so fun to see him with her. She adores him~ Such a difference in the way he gets along with Dane. He tends to tease him a lot! Always knew he'd be great with a little sister, he loved Mallory so much and still does!

Elder Baltich

Elder Karter Baltich has been transferred to Farmington, New Mexico from Bloomfield. This should be a good transfer. Taryn isn't very good at sending new pictures or even his emails~ typical Taryn~ I'm must glad he's doing so well, and is still excited about his missionary calling.

Back in the old days!

Yesterday I received a bunch of old pictures from an Oklahoma group that knew my parents. It was so fun to see these, but on another note sad. I did a lot of crying, which brings on the depression~ Anyway it was great to talk to people who knew my parents. Makes me proud~

Happy New Year!

We have a new president and first family! I couldn't be happier~ We shall see how it goes. I wasn't sure about him, but I know that my brother wanted him way back before he ever made an official announcement~ Which at the time I was unsure of. We have a beautiful first lady. I think she's the prettiest first lady we have ever had!

Cute picture of Kilee's little ones, and now there's a new little one on the way~ She is due in Aug. Actually Aug 26th which is my granny Zell's birthday! I love it! Christtina and Phillip are expecting their 5th~ Which I'm thrilled about. Hoping it's another little Higgins boy~ Don't know what a little girl would do with all those brothers! She is due the end of April. Kodi is busy with school. We're hoping she gets to go to San Diego next month with Jeremy. If so, we'll head over to see her and the kids! Miss seeing her kids!

Karter is loving the mission. Especially likes the reservation~ They got a new pickup which he was really excited to have. Looks like they needed it with all the mud they have to deal with. Glad he's liking it. We were in Cortez last week, and it sure was temping to go to Farmington and stalk him~ ha!

Elder Baltich

Karter is doing great on his mission. Sounds like his Spanish is coming along, and he had a baptism!! Plus lots of contacts to teach. The pictures look like typical New Mexico! Not very pretty~ But he seems to be happy!

Kevin & Helen & kids

Kevin and Helen went to Oregon for Thanksgiving, unfortunately Kodi and the kids had to leave early. But before they left they had fun playing in the snow~ We went shopping for the kids, while Kodi was here..Miss Meryn was such a cutie. We loved watching her dance. SHE HAS HER MOTHER"S MOVES! ha!

Interesting November

It's been a busy November. We were in Hawaii, which was wonderful, but while there my last Aunt, Harriet died. She was almost 98 so we were sort of expecting it to happen soon. We flew back to AZ. on Friday, and took off for OK on Sunday. The funeral was interesting, to say the least. There's been a feud going on between my cousins for several years. Very sad, that this is going on because now Aunt Harriet knows exactly what's going on. Anyway, on the day of the funeral, Rob, Trenton's dad died! So we made arrangements for Kodi and the kids to fly home for the funeral. Kilee flew home on Friday afternoon, and Kodi flew in Friday evening. It was wonderful having them all here, but not the ideal situation~ Trenton knew very little about his father, but wanted to attend the funeral. I think it's a good thing he did. Brings some closure to the whole deal! Our Thanksgiving was wonderful! We had it at Misha's new home, and she did most of the cooking. It was all delicious~

Now that Rob has passed, his sisters want a relationship with Trenton. We guess this is a good thing. They certainly haven't cared for 16 years~ but I totally understand what they are feeling. Not easy to lose a brother~

Mallory, Kolby and Harrison looked so cute for Halloween~ Nolan and Anabeth are taking themselves very seriously. And my Bailee is having a ball at the UNC~
