California
Just had to tell everyone we are on the road, on our way to California to pick up a truck. One of our Eagle Ridge Truck drivers was thrown in jail--numerous counts--So he left the truck. We have to get it and re-lease it out. He will be in jail for some time~
Just had to tell everyone how cool it is to drive down the road, and add to my blog, and chat with Helen on ichat--check my emails--transfer some money--etc. etc. I do love my laptop, and my little alltel device which allows me to do this!

5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. Serve with Ice Cream!

Colorado!
We are still in Colorado~ Today Myrle is cleaning windows, so I'm sure it will come a dust storm, and rain tomorrow! The bug man is also on his way from Durango, running at least 2 hrs. late! We have black crickets and spiders under the crawl space of the house, so I really want them DEAD!!
Now, the latest stupid thing I've done. My hair was driving me crazy, so I decided I couldn't wait to get back to Phx for a haircut. They have salons at Walmart, so I thought these girls are all trained, so even if they work at Walmart they should be ok for a haircut, right? I know what you're all thinking: WALMART!!! Even Myrle said Walmart??? So, I go in, and ask if I can get a haircut--the girl asks me to wait, apparently she can't answer this question, because someone just ahead of me, is writing out his check---So, when she's finished chatting with him she says yes, and asks me to sign in--no one else is waiting, and there are 4 girls working there. Finally after standing there for 5 minutes while she chats, she calls me--I go over and sit in her little chair, tell her what I want done, she says to go and sit at the first shampoo chair---I do this---and wait while she is out in Walmart talking to passers by. I'm thinking: "I need to take this cape off, and get out of here" But I don't---Finally she comes over, and starts wetting my hair--sorta shampoos it--hardly touching my scalp--Then rinses/ no conditioner/ I feel my hair while walking back to "the" chair, and it's still soapy--so, I sit down--she gets a comb, and sorta takes a stroke through it, then gets the scissors and starts hacking before she even has the tangles out!!! Doesn't really talk to me, but continues to yell out into Walmart as people pass by. Then after hacking away, she gets her blow dryer, and sort of uses her fingers, and blows it dry--it wasn't dry, but at this point I had learned my lesson, and was just ready to get out of there. When I got home, I couldn't believe the mess it was/ One side was longer than the other, so I had to even it up, the best I could until I can get home--Helen where are you when I need you?? I promptly emailed the headquarters of the Style Salons that are in Walmart---telling my tale, but haven't heard from them. I just can't believe how unprofessional they are. I've learned my lesson!

We're all Home
We made it back to Colorado, and Misha & twins made it safely back to ID. We had a wonderful trip~ It was just nice doing whatever we wanted--that's what I call a vacation! We hated leaving Kolby & Mallorie, but they are planning to come to AZ the end of the month!

Salt Lake City trip!
We took a quick trip up to Utah from Colorado, to meet Misha and the twins. It's great that we are only a quick 5 hours from SLC and are able to do this. It's only 3 hours for Misha from Idaho Falls too--Wish all my kids were this close! The twins birthday is the 13th so we got to celebrate with them. Lastnight we went to eat at their favorite "crabber" place (Rodizio The Brazilian Steakhouse) We always go when we come to SLC--It is delicious! Mallorie can't get enough steak!
We've had fun shopping at some of our favorite places too (Janie & Jack, Tai Pan trading co., etc.) Now, if it doesn't snow, so everyone can get home~ We may be stuck in the hotel for another day or so!
