Today's latest picture~ Aren't they all cute? Kodi looks great for having a 2 day old baby~She's feeling so much better after this birth! I'm just wishing I could take Kodi, Dane, and Trenton (I guess Jeremy too) back to AZ with me on Monday! The longer I stay the harder it always is to leave these new babies! I hate it, that they don't all live in AZ with me!! Would be so nice if Trevor, Storie and Anabeth could all grow up with Dane---All these little cousins!

July 4th, 2008

Today we got to take Dane home from the hospital~~Look how little he looks in Kolby or Mallories old car seat! Can you believe they used to fit in it?? We got out old pictures of Trenton tonight, and were surprised how much they look alike. Kilee had said he looked just like him, but we hadn't seen it until we saw the pictures. Jeremy's mother got here today from Boston, and she brought pictures of Jeremy ( who was another beautiful baby!!) and there are some things that look like Dane, but I still say he's the most like Trenton!!
On the way back to my hotel tonight, from Kodi's house--I got stopped by an Oregon state patrolman!! He told me they really mean for you to go 35 MPH, not 38 MPH--I was surprised by that--Ha! Also you are supposed to lower your high beam light even when you're on a divided highway!! Crazy Oregon!! I didn't get a ticket/ or I guess I didn't--he didn't give me anything, even though he was writing on a pad--and I didn't sign anything/ so unless they do it totally different here in Oregon--!! Seems to me on the 4th of July he'd find better things to do/ like something about all the illegal fireworks!!

Dane Edward

We finally have a new baby boy! This is #11 grand child~ And he's sooo cute! He weighed 8lb 6oz and was 20 3/4 inches long/ give or take/ I never like the way they measure babies! Kodi had a wonderful birth experience. She labored naturally, didn't have to be induced with drugs! She did have an epidural/ which she is a firm believer in! Ha! She only pushed for about 40 minutes! Her Doctor, was wonderful--More like a good friend than a Dr. and everyone at the hospital was great to her. Jeremy is so cute with him~ He's a wonderful Daddy to Trenton, so we know he'll be wonderful with Dane also!

Well, Kodi is dialated to 3 and yesterday we got her a bottle of Castor Oil/ which she drank, and immediately ran to the bathroom/ however this morning we still have no baby or labor! She had some good pains every 5 minutes or so, but they didn't last long enough. Today we will walk her around a lot and see what we can start up! I'm thinking she can do laps here in my hotel/ up the stairs, and down the halls several times! Ha!
I'm posting pictures of Trenton on his new 4-wheeler and all his gear! He's a good little driver! Has made his own track around their property, and doesn't get tired of driving. You can see from the pictures how beautiful it is at Kodi's. The trees are wonderful! Yesterday there was a breeze and you could hear it blow through the trees! So nice and cool!!! Eat your hearts out Phx. people!! Love and Miss you all!

Oregon

Well, here I sit, waiting for Kodi to start labor!! This should help me be more patient~ But I'm always excited for the birth, and getting to see my new grand baby! It has been sooo beautiful here, I feel guilty for leaving Myrle and everyone in Phx. with all the HOT weather they're having now. Yesterday Trenton had his last T-ball games--a double hitter! He got 2 home runs, and once the bases were loaded! He is a wonderful little baseball player, and doesn't even have to use the T to hit the ball off of! Jeremy has really worked with him, I was amazed how straight he can throw, and how well he hits. His form is great/ for a little boy his age! As we sat and watched the game, we almost needed a light sweater!! It was so cool, and perfect! There was an air show this weekend, so the jets were flying over as they were playing ball! Alot of the players were watching the jets instead of watching the ball game!
Today, Trenton went swimming in my hotel pool....It was cold, he spent most of his time in the hot tub! But he did attempt the pool a couple times, and swim the width--He hasn't had swimming lessons yet, but needs to, he isn't scared of the water now, and did pretty well. Kodi had really wanted to swim too, but it was way too cold. We sat and watched, and both got some sun! Kodi looks really good/ has a pretty big tummy, but hasn't gained very much weight and isn't fat anywhere else on her body. Should be a smaller baby than Trenton was!! She hopes!!

MOTHER'S DAY

These are my beautiful new Jimmie King earrings my 6 wonderful children got me for Mother's Day. Actually mine are prettier, mine are all turquoise, and not the blue stuff on the end~ They are perfect, and exactly what I wanted. I came really close to getting them for myself. I'm so glad I didn't. It was a total surprise!! It was a great Mother's Day, except that I didn't get to be with "all" of my kids. It was fun getting to video chat with Kevin, Helen and Anabeth--that was almost like having them there, except we weren't able to twiddle Anabeth's fat little legs! Phillip brought me a rose, and Christtina made apricot cobbler! Kilee and Dusty were here also! Kilee gave me a long overdue album of her wedding picures! Seems like only yesterday~~I also got beautiful cards from Kodi and Kevin! And a cute email card from Taryn!
It was a wonderful Mother's Day~~~ Thanks and I love you all!!

Anabeth's Bracelet

Just wanted to show everyone Anabeth's bracelet~ Isn't she getting big? Helen and Kevin took her to the Dr yesterday, and she weighs almost 19 pounds!! Such a good diet she is on!!

Storie & PaPa

It's been so beautiful outside, and Storie loves it! All I have to ask is "do you want to see the birds?" and she wants outside! However she was a crack up on the blanket ~ She wouldn't go on the grass/ she would touch it, but didn't like it! Which was nice, cause she would stay on the blanket with PaPa! I let her crawl around on the patio, and of course she was "dirty" So Kilee had to bathe her in my big tub! She's getting so much personality, and is so fun!
