The Girls~

 Kora--it seems the only way to get pictures of these two is having them buckled up in the car!

 At Church today, Misha & Jeremy spoke in Sacrament meeting, so Kilee, Dusty & the girls all came for support! It's always great having as many of my kids as possible together at church!! One of my very favorite things~
Misha spoke about Sacred things, which was a challenge for her! There are so many things we hold sacred. The talk turned out very emotional and spiritual! Jeremy spoke about the priesthood. It too was very touching~ He told a really good story about his dad, when they were younger, taking the long way back home from church. Everyone was in a hurry to get home, yet he took some back roads, because the spirit told him too. Thank goodness he was listening, it was a cold snowy day, and as it turned out there was a woman & children who were broke down, and needed his help. Makes me wonder if I hear those sweet still small voices, especially when my radio is on very loudly!!

Elder Killian's house

Our good friends, from NC, Richard & Leslie's son is serving a mission here in AZ==She wanted me to do a drive by and check out the neighborhood where he is living-- So today Misha & I did some driving around to find this lovely home! Ha! Poor Leslie--scared her!

This is the real home where he lives==a very nice neighborhood, with an older sister in that ward! We had our laugh for the day, at poor Leslie's expense!

Kolby is Student of the month~

The Little Animal in the dryer!

We're looking forward to seeing this little animal! We used to call our Kodi the animal--she was always busy, and into everything~ And now she has her own little animal! Trenton was always so good--very mellow~ But not this little cutie!
Meanwhile, Trenton is sick! We are all really worried about him. He has had a fever for 3 days now--with no other symptoms until today--Kodi took him to the doctor, then last night, took him to ER-- They all seem to be stumped == Can't figure out what is causing the high fever. We're hoping lots of family prayers, and his name on the temple prayer roll will pull him through this!

Oregon in May

This is a picture of the resort we'll be staying at next month. Kodi will be graduating, so we're going out for that. The resort is the Running Y~ It looks really fun. Misha & the twins will be going with us, and Taryn will be flying out also! It will so nice for Kodi to finally be finishing up this part of her degree~ She'll need 2 more semesters, before she has her RN!! Yipee!!
I've been getting a little antsy! No other trips planned. However, I've been looking up trips to Hawaii again~ Just have a really hard time, not wanting to return again & again~
We are still in Colorado, and it's been COLD! However today looks much warmer~ Still I love it. Myrle & I went for a drive yesterday in this area that we always see deer & elk. Saw two different herds--the meadow larks were singing, and there was this crisp smell, that only seems to be here in Colorado~

Trevor & Bailee

Trevor is playing T-ball! His first game is on Saturday, which I will miss~ He looks so cute in his outfit~


Bailee went to the "Mormon" Prom~ They had such problems finding her a dress~ Ordered one, which didn't get there in time. However Taryn found this one, and had it altered. I thought it turned out really cute. Can't believe this little girl is growing up~ Makes me very sad, and feeling very old!!

Left to Tell

I read all day~ Started reading this book and couldn't put it down~ I cried and was so inspired by this woman's faith and courage. Sometimes being a member of the church we forget that others indeed, have special spiritual experiences, and are guided by our Heavenly Father! Anyway, it's a short book (200 pages) and reads very quickly! Makes me very glad to live in the USA even with all our government problems. Hopefully it'll never come to this!

Silverthorne, CO

After leaving Denver we went through a beautiful little town, Silverthorne~ They had outlets, so of course we had to stop and shop for a few hours! It was really a cute little town~
We drove to Grand Junction, and spent the night there, before returning to Cortez. I hadn't been to Grand Junction in probably 45 years. Used to go there a lot for shopping/skiing & visiting an old boyfriend! ha! While there, Misha and I went to see "Hunger Games". It was great~ And Grand Junction was still the cute little town I remembered!

We enjoyed seeing the Molly Brown home in downtown Denver~ She was an amazing lady! However her husband was a slime ball!

Denver Trip-Butterfly Pavillion

Kolby & Mallorie had so much fun in Denver at the Butterfly Pavillion. It is really an amazing place! You go into this Amazon-like jungle room, where thousands of butterflies are flying around. They are everywhere!! I've never seen so many types~

The Mile High City

Tomorrow we are heading for Denver. My favorite cousin is there with her son, Scott~I also have cousin Debbie, who lives there, and Kim not too far away--So we're hoping to get to see all of them too~ We have Misha & the twins with us, so this will be their first time in Denver~ We've had snow here in Cortez--it's melted almost as quick as it's hit the ground. We hope the snow won't be bad going to Denver!

Almost last but not least--Dane!! He's such a character! I miss him! Speaking of little characters--I talked to Kevin last night, and he had to tell me the latest Anabeth story. Kevin recently went to China for work, when he got back, Helen asked Anabeth where daddy had gone, and Anabeth said "Vigina"! Love them~

Random

Mallorie was already student of the month~~
However yesterday was an exciting day~ After the awards ceremony, we got a call telling us the school was "on lock down". Of course we immediately thought the worst~ But the announcement continued to tell us that there had been a robbery in the neighborhood, and because of that they locked the school down..which meant, all the kids had to meet in the cafeteria and wait! Mallorie and Kolby said they heard about 10 shots!! So we assume the police got the robbers! There was nothing on the news, that we saw. Haven't checked out the paper yet this morning---I would think there would be something about it!!! Misha is ready to keep the kids home, and home school!
